The diluted and heated fecal solutions were then inoculated (0.1 or 0.2 mL) onto trypticase soy agar media and incubated at 37°C for 20 h. The number of colonies peculiar to Bacillus subtilis C-3102 were determined and calculated for each level of Calsporin used in the diet.
