    • The range of electron temperatures discussed here is well defined by results of hydrodynamical simulations of the exploding foil plasmas. In general, when we say that plasmas are hot we would like to emphasize the limitation of our theory to weakly coupled plasmas. This is in contrast to studies of "warm," dense plasmas (Refs. 23 and 24).
