    • This brief summary of the REACH-1 trial, a study of the effects of the endothelin receptor antagonist, bosentan, on patients with CHF, suggested that there was a beneficial clinical effect in patients treated for 6 months. Although the study was stopped early due to recognition of problems with dosing and related increases in liver transaminases, these results were very encouraging, and provided the basis for the ENABLE trial
