    • We recently found that one of our complexes (4a) has been prepared by another research group and utilized for polymerization of ethylene in the presence of MAO and a chlorinated solvent (J. Qiu, Y. Li, Y. Hu, Polym. 5). In addition to the fact that the complex was not fully characterized, the authors reported that it was isolated as a black powder, which is not a typical color for such penta-coordinated iron(II) complexes. showed low activity (91.0 kg PE/(mol Fe h)). This is about 100 times less compared to that reported by us.
