    • Our hypernetted chain-mean spherical approximation (HNC/MSA) theory for cylindrical membranes shows that the electrical field produced by a larger surface charge density penetrates less into the fluid. This theory considers the entropic effects due to the excluded volume, whereas in the PB theory, we have point ions. HNC/MSA results will be published elsewhere.
