The X-ray structure determination suffered from poor crystal quality, leading to a low precision data set. However, the structure solution is significant as far as the constitution and relative configuration of the complex are concerned. Since the related complex 4 could be characterized X-ray diffraction with high accuracy, no details of the structure determination for complex 3 will be discussed. The assumption that the crystal of investigated by X-ray diffraction belongs to the major diastereomer served to us as a plausible working hypothesis based on probability. The examined crystal was not characterized by NMR spectroscopy.
