    • Janus micetles
    • To our knowledge, no paper describing water-soluble micelles with mixed polyelectrolyte/nonelectrolyte shells has been published. Fairly recently, there was a poster presentation at the in Warsaw titled "Janus Micetles" by Erhardt, R., Böcker, A., Abetz, W., Müller, A., and Stadler, R. The authors studied a different system with incompatible and therefore segregated shell-forming blocks. They call the micellar nanoparticles "Janus micelles" referring to a Roman god with two faces.
