    • Several attempts were made to synthesize the copper chelate in the pores of the zeolite host. For example, the zeolite was first exchanged with copper after which the ligands were introduced. Also, solutions of copper as well as the ligands were added to the zeolite in different orders, however all attempts for an inclusion synthesis failed.
