    • GPC elution curves of the polymers before and after the radical generation coincided with each other, which denied any degradation and any cross-linking of the polythiophene back-bone during the 1 formation. IR spectrum of 1 showed the residual hydroxy group (VO-H = 3639 cm"1) after oxidation.
