This paper gives an analysis of synovial materials from arthritis patients with regard to C. pneumoniae, and the data argue that clinical characteristics of the patients with the organism are congruent with those of patients with C. trachomatis-induced arthritis. Compare with results presented in Schumacher et al. [10].
