In contrast to that observed in previous XRPD studies, all M⋯M separations reported in this paper are rather accurately estimated, since, owing to the special location of the metal atoms, they only depend on the lattice metrics which, from PD experiments, typically possess e.s.d.'s lower than in conventional single-crystal diffractometry.
