    • Using this new method, optically pure 2,7-diaminosuberic acid derivative 30 was prepared on multikilogram scale in 75% isolated yield with 100% ee and 98.5% de (chiral HPLC) from a technical aqueous solution of succinic dialdehyde 12 (data not shown).
