An excellent review and summary of this group's dissection of cellular events in a clinically relevant inflammatory vascular disease. This information should provide us with improved treatment for GCA (temporal arteritis).

This provides both a greater understanding of repair mechanisms in GCA and an appreciation of why these factors may be widely relevant to other diseases.
