    • Scanning electron microscope (SEM) images were recorded digitally on a JEOL 840 SEM operating at 7 kV. Samples were coated with 50 Å of Pt or Pd/Au. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) images were recorded on film on a Philips CM30 TEM operating at 300 kV. Samples were sonicated for 30 min in ethanol and deposited on a holey carbon grid.
