The C-X-C chemokine ENA-78 is preferentially expressed in intestinal epithelium in inflammatory bowel disease
-
Z'Graggen K, Walz A, Mazzucchelli L, Strieter RM, Mueller C: The C-X-C • chemokine ENA-78 is preferentially expressed in intestinal epithelium in inflammatory bowel disease. Gastroenterology 1997, 113:808-816. Messenger RNA expression of ENA-78, a protein that is predicted to be a neutrophil chemoattractant and activator, was shown to be increased in mucosal samples from patients with CD and UC but is not specific for chronic IBD alone.
