    • The line tension we consider here is not the same as that in ref. 11, by J. F. Joanny and P. G. de Gennes. These authors showed that the effect of long-range forces is formally equivalent to a line tension. In our case, we introduce an additional energy term due to the lower coordination of molecules at step edges present in the perimeter of the drop.
