Although the [110] and [110] surface directions are nonequivalent, mirroring with respect to the x-y plane will transform one into the other and there should not be a difference in bulk magnetocrystalline anisotropy energy between them. An interface effect would have to be surprisingly strong to show this clearly in a 330-nm-thick film.
