    • 2 before initiating the reaction and the grafting was allowed to continue to completion for approximately 6 h. The temperature was raised to 80 °C for 2 h, and the resulting fibers were subsequently filtered and washed with EtOH and dichloroethane. The weight gain of the recovered fibers was determined and the conversion of the monomers calculated to 80%.
