26. The quantum for a kink width is half of the long diagonal of the 7×7 unit cell, i.e., a·(7√6)/4=2.3 nm with the cubic lattice constant a=0.54 nm. The spacing between sites along the [110] step direction is a/√2 =0.38 nm.
