    • Even though the density of electrons in the Tamm states is much smaller than in the superlattice, in Figs. 11(b) and 11(d), the relative magnitude of the Fourier components appear comparable, which is due to the numerical procedures, outlined in Sec. II, that were used to arrive at the Fourier spectra and which enhanced the Tamm peak [see, for instance, A.B. Henriques, Phys. Rev. B 50, 8658 (1994) for a description of the effects of the numerical procedures upon the Fourier spectra], and also due to the greater quantum mobility of Tamm electrons, which are described by a smaller cyclotron mass.
