    • The ultrasonic radiation was performed at room temperature, and no cooling bath was used. After the radiation the temperature of the reaction mixture rose to 80°C.

    • 2@CdS core/shell heterostructures, and CdS nanoparticles) were ultrasonic dispersed in ethanol, and dried naturally in air to obtain a paste. Then the resulting paste was coated on an alumina tube (outer diameter: 1 mm; inner diameter: 0.6 mm), on which a pair of Pt electrodes had been printed at the two ends of the alumina tube. A Ni-Cr alloy meander heater (outer diameter: 0.5 mm) was placed inside the alumina tube to produce an optimized operation temperature.
