Note that the quadrons may not tessellate space perfectly when cells are extremely non-convex, as discussed in.7 Such cell may occur only in the presence of body forces, otherwise they cannot be in mechanical equilibrium. Even so, the probability of such cells is quite low and these cases are disregarded here.
