They collectively work on more than 1,100 projects and most also teach courses at the three University of California campuses affiliated with UC Agriculture and Natural Resources. AES scientists' research projects contribute to maintaining an economically viable and environmentally sustainable food, forest, ornamental and fiber production system for California. They work to ensure a safe, dependable, nutritious, diverse and affordable food supply. The scientists develop programs to support the preservation and protection of the state's natural resources. Many AES scientists collaborate with UC Cooperative Extension specialists and county-based advisors on their research and education programs.

LibQUAL+TM has expanded internationally, with participating institutions in Canada, the UK and Europe. The growing LibQUAL+TM community of participants and its extensive dataset are rich resources for improving library services.

As of spring 2003, LibQUAL+TM has more than 400 participating institutions, including colleges and universities, community colleges, health sciences libraries, law libraries and public libraries, some through various consortia, others as independent participants. LibQUAL+TM has expanded internationally, with participating institutions in Canada, the UK and Europe. The growing LibQUAL+TM community of participants and its extensive dataset are rich resources for improving library services.
