Note: We noticed that single crystal of a 2D MOF based on single Ti node and DOBDC ligands (DOBDC = 1,4-dioxido-2,5-benzenedicarboxylate) was reported recently. However, in this MOF the Ti is chelated by an oxygen atom from the phenol group and another carbonyl oxygen on the adjacent carboxylic group. No permanent porosity was demonstrated for such a MOF that might be unstable toward desolvation
