    • We did not observe any nonlinearity nor hysteresis in Hall resistivity as a function of the magnetic field up to 9 T in all of the samples. The latter indicates the absence of the anomalous Hall effect, which is consistent with the in-plane magnetization shown in Fig. 3(a).

    • In bulk bilayer (Equation presented) ((Equation presented)), the Ir moments are found to form a collinear antiferromagnetic alignment along the (Equation presented) axis [31,32], in marked contrast to the (Equation presented) film. Theoretically, the two states with the canted in-plane antiferromagnetism and the collinear out-of-plane antiferromagnetism are energetically almost degenerate for (Equation presented) [33], which may account for the contrasting behavior of the (Equation presented) film and (Equation presented).
