Numerous interviewees confirmed that since that time, some centres have developed terms and conditions which the routinely add to the SMTA when distributing PGRFA under Development.
-
In their reports to the Governing Body of the Treaty covering the period 2007-2009 inclusive, only one centre, Bioversity, reported adding any additional terms and conditions to the SMTA when transferring PGRFA under Development (and that was to pass on conditions that had been imposed by the depositor of those materials to the international Musa collection). Numerous interviewees confirmed that since that time, some centres have developed terms and conditions which the routinely add to the SMTA when distributing PGRFA under Development.
