A longitudinal study of 135 nonpregnant women who have had their vaginal microbiomes characterized daily. This study presents the initial results of 25 individuals over a 10-week period. The microbiomes of indivuals appeared to be highly personalized with some of those characterized as bacterial vaginosis (both symptomatic and asymptomatic) exhibiting rapid fluctuations and others stable community composition.
