The CD spectra were recorded by Bio Logic MOS-450 circular dichroism spectrometer using a KCl disk. The scan step is 1 nm, duration time is 1 s, band width is 8 nm. Crystals harvested from each zone of the cuvette were ground thoroughly into microcrystals. 1 mg of the microcrystals were weighed out and mixed with 50 mg KCl. The mixtures were ground and ca. 20 mg weighed out to make a pellet in 10 MPa. The diameter of the pellet was 9.7 mm and the thickness was about 0.2 mm. Related reference.
