    • If any of the Environment, Health or Safety scores is less than 3.5, the geometric mean of the three scores and the number 1 is calculated to keep the combined score in the red zone. If none of the individual scores are red, the overall Environment, Health and Safety score is the geometric mean of the three separate Environment, Health and Safety scores Note that whilst the figures show the overall EHS score and overall chemistry score to one significant figure, the more precise number was used when calculating the geometric mean, which can lead to some apparent inconsistencies
