Note
-
According to sampling research conducted by the Population and Labor Economy Research Institution in the Social Science Academy and the Local Social Statistics Bureau. The five cities included in the research are: Wuhan, Shanghai, Fuzhou, Xi’an and Shengyang. Shanghai and Fuzhou represent the thriving east coast, while Wuhan, Xi’an and Shengyang are the inner cities with the most SOEs; thus, the latter group is impacted by the economic restructuring most severely.
