    • As reported by Hensel-Bielowka et al. and Pronin et al. the fragility of glycerol increases by about 35% from atmospheric pressure to 2 GPa but remains almost unchanged at higher pressure. Concurrently, the maximum of the imaginary component of the dielectric permittivity, which is proportional to the optical absorption, does not vary noticeably from atmospheric pressure to 3.4 GPa and then tends to decrease at higher pressure.
