    • The analysis of the current article emphasizes inaccuracies in the values of the apparent molal volume of aqueous sulfuric acid at high dilution; these values are provided and discussed in ref 29. In complete agreement with the main argument of the current analysis, Clegg and Wexler admitted that "... data are⋯ quite often inaccurate for the very dilute solutions for which small errors in measured densities result in large errors in the apparent molar volume." However, these very data, inaccurate as they quite often are, led researchers to suggest the pattern of ionization of sulfuric acid as is now fully adopted in the literature. It is also noteworthy that Lindstrom and Wirth (Lindstrom, R. E.; Wirth, H. E. J. Phys. Chem. 1969, 78, 218-223) have reproduced the measurements of Klotz and Eckert (refs 29 and 32 below) and extended them to even lower sulfuric acid concentration
