i j and solve the coupled differential equations iteratively. We find that this simple three-temperature model adequately captures the key features of the space-time evolution of the thermal energy flow in and out of the CDW manifold as compared to a more sophisticated three-temperature model incorporating the proper z -axis diffusions and the heat capacities associated with each manifold, which will be published elsewhere.
