Reference attempts to find the RG flow of the conductance by studying numerically the low-energy Hamiltonian Eq.. This study finds that for any disorder strength, the flow is towards a perfect metal. It is known, however (see, e.g., Ref.), that for intermediate and strong disorder in Dirac Hamiltonians, ultraviolet cutoff effects become important and may alter the conductance considerably. In particular, different cutoffs reflect different topological properties of the 3D bulk, most notably the pairs switching behavior. We believe that the stability of the numerical results to the choice of cutoffs should be investigated before the RG flow of the conductance may be concluded from numerical calculations.
