    • One of the referees raised the question on the adequacy of using the term "ditopic" to refer to our ligands. Admittedly, there are different uses of this term in the literature, and there is no official definition given by the IUPAC. As many other authors, we use ditopic to refer to the possibility of coordinating two different metal centres at two different positions of the ligand.
