    • Microbial etiology of travelers' diarrhea in Mexico Guatemala and India: Importance of enterotoxigenic Bacteroides fragilis and Arcobacter species
    • The study demonstrated that travelers' diarrhea cases occurring in Mexico, Guatemala, and India were caused by enterotoxigenic B. fragilis and Arcobacter butzleri in 7% and 8%, respectively. Travelers' diarrhea is known to be caused by pathogens also commonly seen in local children with diarrhea suggesting the two organisms will be important in that setting
