The penetration depth calculated from this value was ∼25 nm. This is much smaller than the thickness of the NSMO single-component film (∼150 nm). Thus, even if the NSMO single-component film was excited by a 4.65 eV laser pulse, the pump light never excited the STO substrate, and the transfer of photocarriers from the STO substrate to the NSMO film did not occur.
