    • Feedback system to estimate the quality of outpatient preoperative evaluation records: An analysis of end-user satisfaction
    • This article describes an evaluation of preoperative anesthesia consultations by the anesthesiologists actually providing anesthesia in the operating rooms. In analysis of 21 454 patients who underwent noncardiac surgery, the authors reported that 95% of patients had preoperative consultations that were deemed satisfactory by their anesthesia providers

    • Improving efficiency and patient satisfaction in a tertiary teaching hospital preoperative clinic
    • This article describes patients' satisfaction with preoperative evaluation after a change in the assessment model from one in which anesthesiologists performed all consultations to one in which nurse practitioners performed the consultations under the supervision of anesthesiologists. The change to a nurse practitioner model significantly decreased patients' waiting times and increased patients' overall satisfaction with preoperative assessment
