Elansolid D2 6 is presented based on our knowledge of the absolute stereochemistry of the elansolids (Ref. [2a]). When Piel and co-workers disclosed 6 (Ref. [8]), the absolute configurations had not yet been published, which explains differences in both structural proposals.
