    • This was a novel study demonstrating that caregiver stress is significantly associated with the inflammatory marker IL-6 in those with low self-efficacy. However, caregiver stress was not significantly associated with IL-6 in those with high self-efficacy. This study also suggests that improving caregivers' sense of control has benefits to physiologic markers of cardiovascular disease
