Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) analysis showed that a 5.39 mg sample of the orthorhombic Cu2Se nanocrystals contained 3.34 mg of copper; 0.6% more than the theoretical value of 61.68% (3.32 mg) for a formula of Cu2Se
