    • CSD search version 5.30 + 4 updates, only organics, 3D determined, R < 0.05 gave range 2.414-3.039 with a mean value of 2.552 . Of 939 measured O⋯O distances, only 60 have an O⋯O distance of less than 4.52 NMR was done on a sample freshly removed from the mother liquor and dried quickly on filter paper. NMR on samples that had been removed from the mother liquor for some time showed different ratios of NMP to lutidine. Squeeze results gave 152/156 electrons per unit cell (for structures 8 and 10 respectively), whereas 1 lutidinium and 2 NMP molecules per cell are equivalent to 167 electrons
