    • 2 (20 mL), the pre-calculated amounts of catalyst and a magnetic stirring bar. The temperature of the tubes was kept constant at -25 °C before the addition of the monomer. A pre-condensed amount of isobutene was then added and the pressure tube was sealed and removed from the glove box. The polymerization was performed in a water bath at a constant temperature of 30 °C. The polymerization reaction was terminated by addition of methanol (5 mL). The product obtained was passed through alumina to remove traces of the catalyst complexes. The solvent was removed in vacuo to afford the product.
