    • General procedure for the synthesis of 2, 3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones under aqueous conditions: anthranilamide (2 mmol) and aldehydes (2.1 mmol) was successively added to a solution of catalyst (7 mg) in water (4 mL) placed in a test tube and the reaction mixture was vigorous stirred at room temperature for 5-10 min. The progress of the reaction is monitored by TLC (thin layer chromatography)
