2] (0.438 g, 1.5 mmol) for preparation of 4b was added. The new mixture was allowed to warm to room temperature and stirred at this temperature for 12 h. Solvent was removed in vacuo, and the residue was subjected to open-air TLC separation using petroleum ether/AcOEt (for preparation of 4a, v/v = 3:2; for preparation of 4b, v/v = 2:1) as eluent. From the main orange-red band, 4a (0.230 g, 32%) or 4b (0.375 g, 41%) was obtained as a red solid.
