The unusually low hydrogen coupling constant for this spin adduct cannot be assigned to an alternative DMPO spin adduct such as carbon, oxygen, or hydrogen-centred radicals, and it is likely to be an oxidation product similar to DMPOX which has aH <5 G. However the presence of this species does not affect our conclusions.
