    • Unpublished results. The stereochemistry of ligand 4 was determined by X-ray crystallography of its corresponding CuII-complex (ligand 4: N,N0-bis[(R)- phenyl (2-hydroxy-3-phenylbenzyl)] cyclohexane-(1R,2R)-diamine). The cif file of Cu-4 complex is available as Supplementary data. The stereochemistry of ligand 3 was assigned by analogy of ligand 4.
