This is a large study on diabetic foot disease in dialysis patients involving a representative (ethnically) transatlantic cohort of patients. It demonstrated that the risk for diabetic foot disease in dialysis patients is consistently high across all ethnic groups.

This is a relatively large community-based study demonstrating that there is a progressive rise in the risk of foot diseases with worsening renal impairment, independent of peripheral arterial disease.
