    • For a slip system (hkl) , the Burgers vector magnitude is b = m × a[uvw], where a is the unit cell axis along the direction of the slip vector, and m is a fraction depending on the type of dislocation (m = 0.5 for pure dislocations and m ≤ 0.5 for partial dislocations). As a general case, we used m = 0.1 in our calculations. The choice of m value affects size of b but not the rank order because the same m has been used for all three crystals.
