    • The polymerisation cell was set perpendicular to the ground, and the CLC electrolyte solution was injected into the cell. The electrolyte solution flowed to the bottom of the cell, producing shear stress. An appropriate voltage was then applied to induce electrochemical polymerisation in the oriented CLC field. This simple procedure affords uniaxial CLC-like polymer films
